DOST 02 thru Cagayan Valley Food Safety Team member Aileen Constantino Gonzales, SRS 2, conducts training on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) to Arpamax Food and Beverages in Calamagui 2nd, City of Ilagan.

Arpamax has undergone assessment yesterday and this day’s training in their aim to acquire FDA License to Operate.

Their products ice drop, ice cubes, and citrus juice are commodity by-products that need to follow certain standards in processing. It is hoped that thru the initiative of the Cagayan Valley Food Safety Team, more and more micro, small and medium enterprises will be aware of the importance of Food Safety and their responsibility as food handlers.
